Sycamore Class is full of exciting opportunities for our pupils to bloom and grow. Each pupil's journey is one of growing independance, nurture and self-growth. We celebrate diversity both within school and the wider community and engage in a wide range of topics that explore the wider world and different cultures and beliefs. We know that we are all equal and how we should respect and care for one another. The pupils explore a range of Bible stories and find out what it really means to 'Love Thy Neighbour'. The children in Sycamore class develop key skills to help them keep safe when out and about in the local community, in the home and online. We learn about happy relationships and how begin to explore how we change as we grow older. Every pupil takes part in weekly outdoor learning - which develops key communication skills, risk management, team work and how to care for the world in which we live. The pupils develop key skills in both English reading, writing and mathematics to help them become successful learners for the future.
